This is a great assistance for parenting-even 43 yr olds

This is a great assistance for parenting-even 43 yr olds!!!! Jim is wonderful and puts learning into a different perspective-the kids need to learn now when they are young-to be able to survive in this world.It is the parents' or grandparents' job to teach as much as possible and not to be their friend.It is a necessary parenting aid and it helps to keep one's SANITY.

And oldie, but a goodie

Some of the tracks on here are older, but the messages are still clear. I really love Love & Logic but find it easier to listen to these in the car when driving then to find time to read books.
I used to yell a lot at my kids. It is the parenting style my mom and dad had for me. But I have really learned to take a step back, take the emotion out of my parenting, and let my kids make decisions and live with the natural consequences. I am so much happier as a parent! It takes a lot of practice, but you can get there too!

I talked to a dear friend who had been a school counselor for 30 years? I told her We were having so much trouble parenting our "grown children between the ages of 19 an 26. They thought they didn't need emergency savings ....because mom an dad had a money tree an all the answers. She told me to buy this book .It helped so much wished I would have had it when kids were very young an I possibly wouldn't have had these issues when they were older.
We passed it all around our offices an bought more an sent to our older children when they were having children..lol
